Basic Meditation Course
The Basic Meditation Course is offered over four consecutive days with each session lasting approximately two hours.

In session one you learn the basic mechanics of how to meditate. By the end of the session you know the fundamentals of the technique and are able to practise on your own at home. Right from this first session the mind and body experience profound levels of rest and benefits are gained immediately.

Over the following three days the technique is refined and experiences are verified and validated. At the end of the course you have practical experience combined with theoretical understanding that allows you to be self-sufficient in your practice.

Weekend Meditation Retreats
A weekend residence course is a powerful opportunity for meditators to expand and deepen their practice.

Participants will learn a simple series of yoga poses and breathing exercises and these will be combined with multiple meditation sessions. This ‘industrial-strength’ programme releases deeply rooted stresses and fatigue and accelerates evolution toward higher states of consciousness.

The effects of a weekend retreat are comparable to meditating twice daily for several months.

Thank you for a fantastic weekend - really was best thing I have done in a long time! Your choice of venue and food, the schedule of activities and the teaching were all superb! ~Carina

I want to thank you for an amazing weekend. I have to say, it was nothing like I expected and has definitely brought me to a new space. I feel much more connected on the whole. ~Yvette

The rounding weekend at Voewood was a revelation. Not only did learning the breathing techniques and postures enhance my meditation experience quite radically, the time spent in interesting company, with delicious meals in lovely surroundings, left me feeling more rested than I have in years. I’d thoroughly recommend it to meditators at any level - I’m a novice, but felt completely at home among the veterans. An experience not to be missed. ~Jane

Exploring the Veda (click for more info)
Exploring the Veda is a unique six-part course combining both theoretical understanding of the Veda and its practical application in our daily life.

The Veda is an ancient record of spiritual experience and is the source of yoga, Ayurvedic medicine, meditation and Indian philosophy. The Veda is knowledge of the true conscious intent of the universe. Acquisition of this knowledge allows one to attune their awareness to the ongoing and ever-changing laws of nature. This gives one the ability to experience more frictionlessness and cognise the right response at exactly the right moment.

The course is held on evenings and weekends in six seminars spread over 12-14 months.
