Free Introduction to Meditation Talk
This 60-minute overview of the benefits of meditation and how to learn is offered regularly and is required before beginning the basic course in meditation.
Join an Intro TalkVedic Meditation Course
The Vedic Meditation Course is offered over four consecutive days with each session lasting approximately two hours. By the end of the course you have gained both practical experience as well as theoretical understanding that allows you to be confident and self-sufficient in your meditation practice. Ongoing support is offered as a part of this course.

Group Meditations and Knowledge Meetings
Open to anyone trained in Vedic Meditation or transcendental meditation, these meetings take place several times each month on Monday evenings at 7.00pm. This is a good opportunity to refine the mechanics of your practice, share experiences and enjoy meditating with others.
Group Meditation DatesOne-on-One Refresher Sessions
For those who have learned to meditate but have not been practising for some time, a private refresher session allows you to have your technique verified and refined, as well as to discuss strategies and tactics for getting back on track.

The MBTI is a simple psychometric assessment designed to measure preferences in how people perceive the world and make decisions. Jillian has used the MBTI for over a decade in her corporate and consulting work and is a fully qualified practitioner. She has found it to be one of the most effective tools for individuals to gain a greater understanding of their innate personality type.
Knowledge of one’s preferred style of interacting helps to develop greater self-awareness and better understanding and appreciation of the different styles of others. Please contact us if you would like to schedule a time for a session.
Special and Advanced Techniques
Advanced Meditation Technique Course
Anyone who has been practising Vedic Meditation regularly for one year is eligible to receive training in Advanced Techniques. These techniques are designed to deepen the meditation experience and refine the senses of perception. This results in more deep, subtle and fascinating experiences inside and outside of meditation.

Jillian and Michael are trained in a number of special techniques to support those who are experiencing more acute issues such as depression, addiction, anxiety or under/overeating. These techniques are taught privately and are a supplement to daily meditation. Regular practice of Vedic Meditation for four months is a prerequisite to learning Special Techniques.
Workshops
Yoga and Yogic Breathing
A simple series of yoga asanas and pranayama breathing (called Rounding) greatly accelerate the benefits of meditation. The 90-minute Rounding Workshop is offered several times yearly and is also available on a private basis.

This is an invaluable 1.5-hour workshop for meditating mums-to-be and covers many adjustments to meditation practice, diet and lifestyle. Ayurveda means knowledge of the totality of life, and is a complete system of health. The fundamental healing principle of Ayurveda is to restore balance in mind, body and emotions by enlivening the body’s inner resources of biological intelligence. In this three-part series, you will be introduced to the basics of this system and learn practical techniques to integrate into daily life.

Meditation Retreats
A weekend residence course is a powerful opportunity for meditators to expand and deepen their practice. Participants will learn a simple series of yoga poses and breathing exercises and these will be combined with multiple meditation sessions. This ‘industrial-strength’ programme releases deeply rooted stresses and fatigue and accelerates evolution toward higher states of consciousness.The effects of a weekend retreat are comparable to meditating twice daily for several months.
Upcoming RetreatsExperiencing the Veda - India 2013
In March 2013 we will be leading a retreat to the foothills of the Himalayas by the banks of the Ganges River. This retreat will consist of two sections over two weeks. Part I will be an exploration of the Vedic culture - visiting temples, meditating in ancient caves and exploring the area around Haridwar and Rishikesh. Part II will be a meditation immersion: long meditation programmes in the sanctuary of an Ashram.Exploring the Veda
The Vedas are an ancient record of spiritual experience and the source of yoga, Ayurvedic medicine, meditation and Indian philosophy.Exploring the Veda is a unique six-part course combining both theoretical understanding of the Veda and its practical application in daily life. Acquisition of this knowledge allows one to attune their awareness to the ongoing and ever-changing laws of nature. This gives one the ability to experience more frictionlessness and cognise the right response to the personal and collective need of the time.
The course is held on evenings and weekends in six seminars spread over 12-18 months.
