We are very excited to announce our inaugural retreat to India in October 2011.  One of our favourite places, the village of Rishikesh is nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas on the banks of the Ganges River and has been home to great saints and Vedic masters for over 10,000 years.

We have been exploring and studying in this beautiful area for more than a decade and we’re looking forward to providing a privileged look into a region that will inspire and amaze.

This will be a truly unique event – whether you join us for the first week only or the full two-week immersion, you will have a transformative experience that will impact your personal evolution for years to come.

Dates:

Part 1:  Sunday 2nd to Monday 10th October
Part 2:  Monday 10th to Monday 17th October
Note: Students are invited either to join us for Part 1 only or attend the full two weeks of the retreat.

Retreat Format:

Part 1: Experiencing the Veda will be an active and exciting week based in and around the holy village of Rishikesh.  Knowledge talks, daily group meditations and a special advanced meditation programme will be at the heart of a journey of enhanced personal discovery. In addition, we will take time for exploration of the local region, including witnessing sacred fire ceremonies by the banks of the Ganges, visiting temples in the Himalayan foothills, meditating in ancient caves, meeting with local swamis and masters and partaking of delicious vegetarian cuisine.

Part 2: Encountering the Self will be a week-long programme of even deeper meditations within the nourishing environment of the ashram. This is a rare opportunity to take one’s practice to an elevated level through extended immersion into subtle layers of awareness.  This creates fascinating and purifying experiences during meditation and ultimately delivers an expansion of happiness in daily life.

Once you arrive in Delhi, transportation, accommodation and some meals for the retreat are inclusive. You will need some additional spending money for meals, shopping, etc.
Flights to and from Delhi are not included.
