Weekend Meditation Retreat at Voewood

outsidehouse.jpg The dates for our next Weekend Rounding Retreat are fast approaching and we encourage you to make time for a few days of deep rest and purification. Many students ask how to accelerate their personal evolution - a weekend like this is one of the most profound ways to advance.

The retreat starts on Thursday in the evening and wraps up on Sunday in the afternoon.

I never anticipated getting so much out of the retreat – the inspirational talks and open-ended discussions have challenged my views about a range of things and rounding has not only brought my meditations back on track but to a higher, more meaningful level.
Thank you both for sharing so generously this incredible knowledge and for making it so easily accessible.

Thank you for a fantastic weekend - really was best thing I have done in a long time! Your choice of venue and food, the schedule of activities and the teaching were all superb!
-Carina

I want to thank you for an amazing weekend. I have to say, it was nothing like I expected and has definitely brought me to a new space. I feel much more connected on the whole.

The weekend centers on the process of ’rounding’. Rounding involves a simple sequence of yoga positions, or Asanas, that are easy to learn and can be practised by anyone, followed by a specific breathing technique called Pranayama. When this combination is added to your meditation the result is an ‘industrial-strength’ multiple-meditation programme designed to enhance the restfulness of meditation and release the deepest stresses.

One weekend of rounding delivers the benefits of three to six months of regular twice a day meditation.

Delicious vegetarian meals will be served, to support and enhance the weekend programme. The informal communal kitchen always becomes a gathering place between meditations, for snacking and sharing.
