15th–27th March, 2026
Step beyond the surface and into the living heart of Vedic culture. This journey of personal discovery offers rare access to parts of India that inspire, transform, and amaze.
DIVINE LOCATIONS
We begin with a few days in the ancient city of Varanasi, one of India’s most revered spiritual centres and one of the longest continuously inhabited cities on Earth. From there, we travel to Rishikesh, a sacred village nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas, home to great saints and Vedic masters for thousands of years. With over two decades of exploring and studying in these extraordinary places, we offer you an intimate, insider experience — far beyond the tourist path, and deeply connected to the living tradition.
Going to the Source
This is a rare opportunity to immerse yourself in the source of the Vedic tradition, guided by deep expertise and personal experience. You’ll explore sacred temples in the Himalayan foothills, witness ceremonies on the banks of the Ganges, bathe in the holy river, meditate in ancient caves, and meet local swamis. Experiencing India in this intimate, authentic way awakens a profound appreciation for the knowledge at the heart of our practice and expands your meditation in ways only possible at the source.
Deepen your practice at the source of Vedic wisdom and tradition.
THE MEDITATION PROGRAMME
Immerse yourself in a precise, expertly crafted programme of gentle yoga, refined breathing techniques, and deep meditation — all within the nourishing atmosphere of the ashram. This rare opportunity allows you to deepen your practice and creates profound purifying experiences, opening the way for an accelerated expansion of consciousness.
TRAVEL AND ACCOMMODATION
Once you arrive in New Delhi, we’ll meet you at the airport and take you to a modern, comfortable hotel to rest and enjoy a welcome dinner together. The next morning, we travel by first-class train through the Indian countryside to Varanasi, where the journey truly begins. After several days exploring this ancient city, we head to Rishikesh, where we stay in a simple ashram nestled on the banks of the Ganges. The retreat concludes in Rishikesh, and you’ll then return to New Delhi for your onward travel.
India invites you to step beyond the familiar and expand your awareness, opening you to new and fascinating perspectives. This retreat creates the ideal environment to fully embrace these profound experiences — safely, and in the company of an extraordinary group of like-minded people. If you’ve never been to India, this is a beautiful, carefully guided introduction to its depth and vibrancy. This was the perfect introduction to India for a first timer like me. So many rich experiences, skilfully curated into a well balanced trip. And we were looked after with such love and care – there was nothing for us to do but soak it all up!
A trip like no other. Experiences like no other. Unique in every way. Immersion into another world with surprises around every corner. Never a dull moment. Every sense and emotion is touched whether it be that of sight of beautiful landscapes, vibrant colours and celebrations, sounds of singing, chanting and laughter, tastes and smells of spices and different flavours, the touch of silk and cottons, the joy and peace of meditation within magical surroundings.
