Michael taught me to meditate in 2013. At the time, I was working for a high-end wellness club in London, and heard of London Meditation Centre through a client. He was leading an intense lifestyle, constantly travelling across the globe running his multi-million dollar company. He never seemed stressed, and was one of our nicest clients. When I learned that meditation was his secret, I knew I wanted in.
Learning to meditate has changed my life. With meditation I have clarity, good mental health, balance, and so much more. I love being right at the heart of this potential for change, and connecting people with the incredible teachings of Jillian and Michael inspires me.
Supporting our students in their path as meditators is a privilege. People come to us eager to feel better. Then they learn to meditate, and it’s like a light’s been switched on. It is truly fulfilling to be a part of their development, knowing our work is making a real difference.

Jillian Lavender: Vedic Wellness and Meditation expert
Jillian Lavender has been teaching people to meditate since 2003. She co-directs London Meditation Centre and New York Meditation Center with her partner, Michael Miller, from their base in London. Through teaching Vedic Meditation, the world’s most ancient form of meditation, Jillian has helped thousands of people across the globe to transform their lives.
Originally from New Zealand, Jillian held senior business roles in Sydney, Paris and New York. During this demanding time leading global publishing companies, Jillian learned Vedic Meditation. The improvements to her life were immediate. Her stress levels began to dissolve and the fatigue began to subside. When life brought her to London, Jillian took some time to review where she was with everything. She quit the big job, and headed for the US, and then to India, where she trained with her teacher, world-renowned Thom Knoles, to become a meditation teacher.
Alongside teaching meditation, Jillian is also an expert in Ayurveda and consults on health, diet, sleep, fertility and lifestyle. She delivers this ancient knowledge in an accessible and practical way for modern life.

Michael Miller: Vedic Meditation expert
Michael Miller is the co-founder of London Meditation Centre and New York Meditation Center. He teaches Vedic Meditation full-time and is recognised as one of the leading experts in his field.
Michael has taught thousands of people to meditate — in group settings, within organisations including Wall Street firms and NGO’s, as well as private clients around the world. He also leads meditation retreats in India, Europe and the States. Michael is a sought-after speaker about stress, creativity and meditation for tech companies, wellness conferences, business organisations and finance and legal firms.
Prior to becoming a teacher, Michael’s personal practice of meditation supported him in a demanding and varied business career. He worked in the entertainment industry as a theatre producer and music promoter for top touring acts. He also ran large conferences in the finance and education fields, and was an executive for a premiere entertainment business publication. Michael’s previous marketing and business experience means that he understands the challenges his clients face in fast-paced environments, and how to balance this with staying well, creative and motivated.
