Can You Meditate Anywhere?

Can You Meditate Anywhere?

You can practise Vedic Meditation almost anywhere. You don’t need a quiet room or a special setting — and you don’t have to be at home when it’s time to meditate.

One of our London students takes the Circle Line in the wrong direction so he has enough time to meditate on his journey home. He sits on the train, closes his eyes and arrives home feeling very different. The journey gives him an opportunity to meditate before he gets home.

What do you need?

Somewhere to sit comfortably. At home, that might be a chair with your back supported or the sofa. Away from home, you could use a conference room at work, a park bench or a seat in a coffee shop.

The noise and activity around you aren’t a problem. You don’t have to wait for perfect silence before you begin.

Vedic Meditation is taught in person over four consecutive days at London Meditation Centre and New York Meditation Center.
